Every semester, the Writing Center offers a variety of free workshops that are open to all APU students, faculty, and staff. The Writing Center’s workshops address challenging areas of the writing process, including avoiding procrastination, getting started, argument, and revision. Listed below are our Fall 2017 workshops. Cell Phone Writing – Wed., Mar. 21, 2:00-2:45 p.m. – Online

Can’t seem to find the time to read research articles or begin writing your essay? Let your smartphone work for you! This online workshop will show you how to use apps on your smartphone to help you get a head start for all of your writing assigments. You will learn how to research, highlight, and save your sources, as well as brainstorm and begin drafting essays–all from your phone!
